Standard conveyor chains can be manufactured to British Standard (BS), ISO Standard, or DIN Standard.

- The key to Renold chain reliability is consistency in design to achieve the required chain strength in excess of the international standard requirement, suitable clearances and fits, material specification, and strict process control in manufacturing including heat treatment.
- Standard and Deep Link conveyor chain is available to BS4116 Part 4 as well as ISO 1977, with both Hollow and Solid Bearing Pins.
- A special zinc diffusion process for chain corrosion protection is available for food and other corrosion sensitive environments.
